Circular Ring Loaded Monopole Dual Band Patch Antenna

چکیده

Abstract— Miniaturized structure and multiple band performance of a patch antenna are primary requirements for modern wireless communication systems. In this paper, a novel design of monopole dual band microstrip patch antenna with circular ring has been proposed for S and C band applications. For dual bands (4.0 GHz and 4.68 GHz), proposed patch antenna shows quite satisfactory radiation performance. Proposed antenna is designed, simulated and analyzed by using a finite element method based high frequency structure simulator HFSS. The results exhibit that the antenna operates over the frequency ranges 280 MHz (3.86–4.14GHz), 150 MHz (4.61-4.76 GHz), and suitable for S-band and C-band applications.
